The Movers Project was originally created as an "Community Based" Moving, Pickup and Delivery Service in response to the finacial and ecconomical struggles of todays times. Our objective was to provide Low Income Residence with quality and professional service, for an AFFORDABLE PRICE. With so many single mothers and families housed in Government Housing Programs, Transitional Housing Programs whose fundings were being cut. Many were finding it very difficult to move to the next step, due to the HIGH COST ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATION SERVICES. The Movers Project contracted with several agencies that assisted such clients to help them back on the road of independant living upon permanant residency. For such clients we provided a Large Enclosed Cargo Van as an alternative to the prices associated with a Big Truck or Trucking Companies. Today we are proud to state we have helped over 100 single women and families at a cost they could afford, while maintainning the overhead it cost us to run our business.
Many of our Commercial and Residential clientshave also found our services to be affordable and reliable. As our objective is to help provide moving and pickup/delivery service at fair cost, we additionally provide USED MOVING BOXES at discount rates to further minimize the cost of expenses associated with moving. WHY BUY NEW MOVING BOXES, WHEN USED QUALITY BOXES WILL DO.
